The succulent black cherries, which grow wild in Italy's Bologna and Modena regions, have an intense, satisfyingly tangy flavour balanced by sweet, rich cherry juice syrup.

Delicious with vanilla ice cream and yoghurt, try them spooned over chocolate mousse and cheesecakes for an indulgent dessert, with pancakes and waffles, and for adding wow to cocktails or Prosecco.
