Pollastrini Di Anzio Sardines in Tomato Sauce w/Chilly Tin 100g / Al Pomodoro Piccante

In the beautiful coastal city of Anzio, about 50km’s south of Rome, Pollastrini has produced canned sardines since 1889 when founder Salvatore Pollastrini commenced operations. All products are made using wild caught Clupea Pilchardus sardines, fished from the Mediterranean Sea.

Freshly processed, the head and tail are removed and the fish is gutted (but not filleted), maintaining their shape and beautiful silver skin. These Pollastrini Sardines come in tomato sauce with the addition of hot pepper and are great in antipasto or tapas. They can be tossed through pasta, salads and vegetables or just served with crisp rustic bread.
