School Chalk Black is a variant of the classic white school chalk from Venco. While the original school chalk is white just like real school chalk this one has a black coloured coating with a sweet taste of licorice dominating.
Soft, firm and sweet with licorice flavour. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
Licorice is derived from a plant called Glycyrrhiza glabra, which is native to Europe and Asia, and the early Egyptians used it in tea as a cure-all concoction. The root is known to help soothe gastrointestinal problems and can be used to speed the repair of stomach lining when treating food poisoning, stomach ulcers, or heartburn.
It is also recommended to treat respiratory problems as it can help produce healthy mucus. Licorice supplements can also help the body's adrenal gland that has been exhausted from producing adrenaline and cortisol over time.
Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup, modified starch, licorice root extract, gelatin (contains zwafeldioxide) 5%, salmiak salt 2%, wheat flour, vegetable oil, flavorings, glazing agent.
